• “Falling for Ellijay: A Heartfelt Journey in the Apple Capital of Georgia”

This past weekend, Frankie and I had a wonderful trip to Ellijay, Georgia, known as the “Apple Capital of Georgia.” Located in the North Georgia mountains, Ellijay is about 90 minutes north of Atlanta and serves as the county seat of Gilmer County. The town is famous for its numerous apple orchards, apple-related events, and the annual Georgia Apple Festival. If you’re from the Brantley County area, chances are you’ve been touched by one of Diane’s heartfelt cards at some point. For her, sending cards wasn’t just a habit; it was a genuine expression of love and affection. Be it your birthday, your anniversary, or just a day when you needed a little pick-me-up, Diane was always there in spirit, reminding you that you mattered. Tomorrow marks Frankie’s birthday. As he settled into his chair this morning, savoring his coffee, he let out…
