“Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him” Psalm 127:3
Can I say that this girl right here brings so much joy to my heart. She is a true gift from God.
I pray daily that I can help teach her about the things in life that truly matter.
So, to give you a little back story, my daughter was in her late 20’s and had not had any children yet.
She actually told me that “she wasn’t interested in bringing children into this world in the state that it is in”. I was secretly (well, maybe not so secretely) disappointed. But, I accepted it. I had come to terms with having grand dogs only. (sad face)
But about the time I wasn’t thinking about it anymore, BAM, look who showed up
And, from that day until now, my world has forever changed. It seems like I notice all the small things that change on a weekly basis. I don’t remember noticing them when my daughter was growing up. I guess I was just so busy working and carving out a living until I just took these things for granted. But not this time, I can literally see her changing and evolving almost daily.
She spends most days with me and I love every minute of it. Even the days that I am dead tired by the time she goes home. She is quite a handful at 2 1/2 years old. She is a rough and tumble little girl that is full of attitude, spirit, and just pure will and I love it!!
